Microneedling & Microinfusion
Microneedling
At the Aesthetic Edit, we use SkinPen for microneedling. SkinPen is FDA-approved and uses small, controlled needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, triggering a wound-healing response that increases, collagen, elastin, & the overall skin texture and firmness.
Microneedling is best for patients who are or have experienced acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, skin texture irregularities, or pigmentation issues.
It can often be combined with PRP (used from drawing your own blood), hyaluronic acid, or PDRN (salmon DNA) to achieve greater results depending on your goals.
You should expect redness for the first 24 hours with a 'sand-paper' like texture during the first 2-3 days. Collagen reforming will happen in 4-6 weeks. If a series of microneedling treatments are recommended, they are typically spaced about 6 weeks apart.

Microinfusion
At the Aesthetic Edit, we use AquaGold Fine Touch for our microinfusions. AquaGold Fine Touch is a superficial skin treatment that delivers tiny amounts of customized ingredients directly into the upper dermis (second layer of your skin) using 24k gold-plated microchannels.
Microinfusion is used to improve overall skin glow and brightness, refine pore appearance, smooth fine lines, reduce mild redness or uneven tone, & deliver a “glass skin” effect for events or maintenance.
Patients love microinfusions because they can be customized with different ingredients including, Botox®, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, PDRN, or brightening agents.
You will see an immediate glow after the procedure with peak radiance occurring in 2-3 days & lasting for about 1 month.
