FAQs
We are confident that the answers to your questions are here!
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. A consultation is recommended for all new patients to assess goals, medical history, and determine the safest and most effective treatment plan.
We offer virtual assessments or in-office visits, both free of charge.
Are treatments safe?
Yes. It is important to find a trained medical provider. At the Aesthetic Edit, your injector is a plastic surgery PA with over 11 years of clinical experience.
It is important to understand that while safe, all treatments carry risks, which will be reviewed with you prior to treatment.
Will my injectables look natural?
When performed correctly, treatments are designed to enhance natural features rather than change them. The goal is balanced, subtle improvement—not an overdone appearance.
I am new to this. Where do I start?
Let's start with a virtual facial assessment! You can find the link for this on our 'Home' page. If you prefer to see us in patient, we are happy to get you scheduled!
What should I avoid before treatment?
All pre-treatment information can be found if you click the "Learn More" tab under the procedure you're interested in under the "Services" tab.
What should I avoid after treatment?
All post-treatment information can be found if you click the "Learn More" tab under the procedure you're interested in under the "Services" tab.
Are treatments painful?
Most treatments are well tolerated. Options like topical numbing, ice, and fine-gauge needles are used to maximize comfort.
Who is not a candidate for treatment?
You may not be eligible if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, actively ill or infected in treatment area, have certain neurological or autoimmune conditions, or on medications that increase bleeding risk.
Can I combine treatments?
Yes. Many patients benefit from combination plans such as Botox + filler + skin treatments, microneedling + PRP, or jawline + chin + cheek balancing. It is important to schedule your free consult to see which treatment(s) are best for you.
Do you recommend certain skincare products?
Yes. We offer Skinmedica at the Aesthetic Edit.
We can provide you with skincare recommendations based on your current concerns & future goals.
Do you offer memberships?
Yes, we offer two different memberships! Our memberships are banks that are designed to act as personal aesthetic savings accounts.
Each month, you contribute a set amount into your membership bank, and those funds can be used for services & products at the Aesthetic Edit.
You can find more information under the "Membership" tab.
This might get expensive. Do you have financing options?
Yes, we offer Cherry. Cherry will run a 'soft-check' and will let you know if you are approved on the spot. Once approved, you can choose your terms.
You can find more information under the "Pricing" tab.
I love a deal. Do you offer discounts?
We will occasionally offer discounts. Keep an eye out for specials on social media.
Do you require a deposit?
All new patient appointments require a deposit to reserve your time. Deposits are non-refundable and are applied toward your future service.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
All cancellations and schedule changes should be completed 24 hours prior to your appointment. Anything within that 24-hour time frame will be subject to a $50 fee.
